Kelsey Nunley Talks Kentucky, USSSA Pride Softball

Eric Lopez interviews USSSA Pride rookie pitcher Kelsey Nunley about life with the Pride as a rookie in the NPF. Nunley also talked about her career at Kentucky. Among the topics Nunley discussed were  the following:

 Nunley made program history this season becoming the first player in Kentucky Softball program  history to be named a National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association First Team All-American.

Nunley  won the 2016 Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Year and along with current assistant coach Molly Johnson-Belcher are  the two All-Americans in Kentucky’s program history to date with Johnson-Belcher earning second team honors in 2009.

Nunley set or surpassed new program bests for single-season ERA, career innings pitched, appearances, wins and saves by the time her career at Kentucky was over.

Nunley was the fifth overall pick in the first round of the NPF Draft by the Pride.
