Florida-LSU TV Viewers Up from 2015

ESPN2’s broadcast of the No 1 rank Florida Gators win over the 7th rank LSU Tigers on Saturday afternoon drew 250,000 viewers according to SportsTVRatings.com 

The Gators-Tigers telecast which was the first telecast  this season on ESPN2 went up against stiff competition of the likes of UConn Women’s Basketball Sweet 16 matchup with Mississippi State which aired on ESPN at the same time.

The Gators -Tigers  numbers are up from last season’s 1st ESPN2 telecast between Florida and the Alabama Crimson  Tide which garnered 188,000 viewers in similar time slot against Women’s Tournament 1 year ago. Florida-LSU regular season games last season aired on SEC Network which does not released publically TV viewers numbers.scarborough

ESPN2’s Saturday night game between the Texas Longhorns and Baylor Bears won in dramatic fashion  by the Bears garnered 164,000 viewers. The Longhorns-Bears game was the first game called this season by Adam Amin and Amanda Scarborough team.

Among the competition that College Softball had more viewers then included the NCAA Lacrosse and Hockey Tournament games, The LPGA Tour’s Kia Classic, and Spring Training Major League Baseball games.

ESPNU’s telecast of Mississippi Valley State and Texas Southern which aired on ESPNU on Thursday afternoon garnered 44,000 viewers.

Vols-Gators TV Viewers on ESPNU

ESPNU’s broadcast of the No 1 rank Florida Gators win over the 16th rank Tennessee Volunteers  on Friday night drew 74,000 viewers according to SportsTVRatings.com 

The Vols-Gators telecast which was the first non- SEC Network telecast this season by the ESPN family of Networks went up against stiff competition of the likes of the Mens and Women’s NCAA Tournament at the same time.

The Vols-Gators numbers are slightly down from last season’s 1st ESPNU telecast between Auburn Tigers and Ole Miss Rebels which garnered 81,000 viewers. Numbers for Softball games that air on SEC Network are not released publically.

This weekend the Gators will be on ESPN2 as they travel to Baton Rouge to take on LSU at Noon. It is part of a day night doubleader of Softball coverage on ESPN2 as at 9pm that night Adam Amin and Amanda Scarborough will call Texas at Baylor.
